Horse-racing OTT video app is fine example of streaming innovation
Wiztivi’s design experts and development team used our unique DANA Framework to develop Equidia’s first app for Connected TVs. It provides viewers a fully immersive and interactive big screen viewing experience that's tailored specifically to Equidia’s audience of dedicated horse racing enthusiasts.
The app includes an array of features including live channel access from the Home, Replay, EPG and Full Information pages (FIPs). Users can quickly get comprehensive insights into horses, jockeys and much more, thereby enhancing the overall viewing experience.

The Equidia Connected TV application is seamlessly integrated into the Shaka player to guarantee optimal performance and an immersive viewing experience.
Since its launch, the Equidia Connected TV Application has seen significant adoption, with thousands of users each month. This success highlights the application's impact and the value it brings to horse racing enthusiasts. By democratizing access to comprehensive horse racing content on a new distribution platform, Wiztivi and Equidia are not only meeting but also anticipating the evolving needs of their audience, an essential part of streaming innovation and growth.
